LPG Powered Fixed Fires

An LPG fire is perfect for homes without a mains gas supply. These fires, which can be either inset modern or outset traditional in style and design, have an efficiency rating of up to 86% and provide a much higher heat output than mains gas fires.They can be installed in houses with, or without, chimneys (must be balanced flue for no chimney).

A highly efficient gas fire allows homes to be heated effectively and generates greater amounts of heat instantly. The benefits of a gas fire are instant flame with ease of use and control, and quick shut-off and cooling. These fires also come with many built-in safety features that continuously monitor oxygen levels.

To power these fires it is advisable to use a minimum of 2 x 47kg propane bottles with a changeover valve. This should last most of the winter season (for bottled LPG consumption rates explained please go here).
